1. First contact
Taking the first step can feel big, and we understand that. When you get in touch, you’ll be met with warmth, understanding, and no judgement. We’ll arrange an initial consultation at a time that feels comfortable for you.
2. Free 15-minute consultation
You’ll have a relaxed, informal conversation with one of our clinicians. This is a space for you to ask questions and decide whether we feel like the right fit for you, with no pressure to move forward.
3. Moving forward
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll send you a pre-assessment pack. This includes clear information about the process, consent forms, screening tools, and guidance on how to prepare so everything is collaborative from the start.
4. The ADOS-2 session
A structured, evidence-based assessment involving gentle activities and conversations to explore how you experience the world. The ADOS is delivered online using an adapted evidence based approach. We guide you at a pace that feels supportive and comfortable.
5. The ADI-R session
A gentle conversation with someone who knows you well (e.g., a parent or close family member) to understand your developmental history. This helps us build a unique story of your life experiences over time.
6. Clinical review and your written report
The clinical team carefully review all the information to build a thoughtful understanding of your journey, bringing together multiple perspectives and considering alternative explanations for your experiences. This helps us to reach a balanced and well-informed understanding, which is then reflected in your detailed report, offering clear insights and personalised recommendations to support you at work, in education, or at home.
7. Feedback session
Offered within 3 weeks of your assessment is a 30-minute session to talk through your results. This is a supportive space to ask questions, reflect on findings, and begin to make sense of what this diagnosis means for your future.
8. Follow-up support
Offered within 4 weeks of feedback, this reflective consultation appointment provides space to process the assessment findings, explore next steps and begin integrating your new understanding in an empowering way.
